Esplanade BBQs

Along the Esplanade there are various BBQs and Picnic areas for general public use. These are cleaned each day and are free to use for individuals.

Should you require exclusive use of a BBQ for group event; party or fundraiser, then it is possible to hire a BBQ which will be specifically cleaned and reserved prior to the start of your event. To take advantage of this service applications are required 10 working days prior to your event using the form below. Cairns Regional Council fees are stated on the form for your ease of reference.

Please note, bookings are required for groups of over 50 persons or for any pre-arranged or advertised activity.

To further assist you the 'ICF Hire of Facilities form' below requests all the information we need in order to help you with your event including days and times of your event and Council's hire fees to help you plan your budget. If you would like to make a booking we request that you complete the 'ICF Hire of Facilities' form and return the address indicated so that we can assess your needs and respond accordingly with a quotation.
