FREE AUSTRALIA DAY CONCERT

DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER.. THIS CONCERT HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE PIER BAR & GRILL

Cairns Regional Council will be holding a FREE Australia Day Concert, 26th January 2010. Due to inclement weather the concert has been moved from Fogarty Park to the all weather Pier Bar and Grill, located at the Pier at the Marina. 

The concert will run from 4pm – 9pm and will feature the talents of local band Vikarious, followed by well known local artist Emma-Louise then… feature act Kate De’Araugo, winner of the 2005 Australian Idol, number 1 hit singer of “Maybe Tonight” and former band member of the well known “Young Divas”!

In addition Zinc FM, the Breaky Team, Dave and Inky from the Morning Zoo, will be presenting the event and giving away a BBQ to be best Idol audition finalist!

The Leukaemia Foundation will also be operating a good ol’ Aussie favourite, a pie and lamington stall.

Please note the Pier Bar and Grill is a licenced venue therefore attendees over the age of 18yrs only are permitted to enter.
