Classes
The current classes available include:
FITKIDS
Fun Family Fitness – outdoor games, fitness skills, drills and motor skill development. Kids are encouraged to develop a positive, non-competitive approach to fitness games for confidence in life, sport and play.
Fitkids is a Fun, Fitness Activity for the whole family aimed at kids aged 6-12 years of age and parents are encouraged to join in! Fitkids are happy, healthy and active kids.
STEADY STEPS
Low impact, low intensity, age appropriate exercises for joint health, improved vitality and circulation. The class focuses on strength, balance and coordination for improved health and fitness.
YOGA
Yoga is beneficial for everyone; it keeps the body flexible while developing useful strength, with long strong muscles and a full range of movement in the joints. Stretching, squeezing and twisting into postures helps keep internal organs free of toxins and full of oxygenated blood. The lymphatic system is then pumped and primed to enhance the immune system.
The breathing exercises ensure the lungs are full of fresh air to develop vitality, while keeping the nervous system calm and balanced. Relaxation and meditation techniques are essential for effective stress management. The end result is increased mental clarity, emotional stability, and a greater sense of overall well-being.

ZUMBA
Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one of a kind fitness program that will blow you away! Zumba participants will achieve long term benefits while experiencing a calorie burning absolute blast.
The routine involves fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Join the Party!
PILATES
Pilates is a unique body conditioning regime which changes both the way you look and the way you move. The method was developed over 80 years ago by Joseph Pilates.
Working on the deep postural muscles of the body, Pilates rebalances muscle groups, brings your body into correct postural alignment and restores natural, normal movement. The benefits you will receive include better posture, improved mobility, less stress, improved health and better self image. Regardless of you age or fitness level, you will benefit from doing Pilates.
To inspire you, in the words of Joseph Pilates “In ten sessions you’ll feel the difference, in 20 you’ll see the difference and in 30 sessions you will have a new body.” Come along and gain the many benefits that Pilates will bring to your everyday life!!
SAHAJA YOGA MEDITATION
No level of fitness is required for this meditation class. Your instructor will speak about how the meditation started and its benefits. You will then be guided through some affirmations, then meditate for 10-15 mins. After the session there is the opportunity to read literature about meditation and to discuss the process with your instructor. If you need to de-stress, find new ways to relax or just chill out for a while, then this is the class for you.
AQUA AEROBICS
A water based exercise program designed to work every major muscle group by using the natural resistance of water. Aqua Fitness allows you to achieve all areas of fitness including Cardio, Strength, Flexibility and Relaxation, all in one class. Exercising in water has minimal impact on the body and joints with no post exercise soreness felt the next day. No swimming or fitness skills are required so everyone can join together for fitness and fun in a friendly way.

BEACH VOLLEYBALL
Have a hit at the beach! Whether you are a first timer, intermediate or advanced player, come and improve your Beach Volleyball skills, and meet other players from the community.
The clinic is a fast-paced hour of instruction, drills and game play. Plan on sticking around after the clinic if you can, as everyone can play under the lights until 9:30pm!
BOXINFUN
First and foremost a fitness class, Boxinfun incorporates punches, kicks and knees to get you fit and strong - fast. Based around boxing and kickboxing, you will learn how to hit and kick safely and effectively, burn fat and let your cardio fitness reach new heights.
De-stress and unwind from a hard week's work and most importantly have loads of FUN!
BOOTCAMP
ATTENTION! This class will have you working to your full potential! Don’t let the name fool you - Boot Camp is the class for everyone, so come along and give it a try! In the true style of Boot Camp, you will be pushed and encouraged to try new and exciting things (even things you thought you couldn’t do!) A basic fitness level is advised for this class but is not essential.
Your qualified instructor will be able to deliver you with an awesome workout whatever your fitness level.
LEARN TO RUN
Scared of the word 'run'? Want to learn how? Then this is the class for you! Learn how to run, how to run effectively, improve your running technique and get fit all - from the one class! Suitable for all makes and models, so come along and enjoy the scenic view!
ACTIVE HEARTS
Is a low to moderate intensity physical activity program suitable for anyone who hasn’t exercised for some time. Participants can exercise at their own pace in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Healthy Hearts welcomes everyone and is designed to be safe for people with health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes or obesity.
Taking part in regular Healthy Hearts sessions can help:
• lower blood pressure
• improve cholesterol control
• manage weight
• improve well being and quality of life
• manage diabetes
• improve balance and flexibility
• improve sleep
• improve bone mineral density with arthritis management
• prevent falls and injuries from falls
MUMS & BUBS
We focus on post natal needs such as core stability and pelvic floor re-activation, as well as cardiovascular and resistance training exercises to work all the major muscle groups. You will increase your strength and general fitness level to run around and play with your family.
Initially the goal is often to get back in shape. However, you will quickly notice as you get stronger that simple daily activities become easier. Your body will be less prone to injury and as you increase your muscle, you will burn more calories, increasing your metabolism and making it easier to burn the ‘yucky’ fat. On top of all this, you’ll make friends with other mums who are probably having the same troubles and triumphs that you are.
With a great variety of exercises, we will increase upper and lower body strength to help you meet the demands of baby care. Reduce the risk of osteoporosis, high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels. When you are feeling great you'll also feel less anxiety and depression.
Not only is this a great opportunity to meet new mums and share experience and knowledge, you save money, as bub comes with you! One other little secret we will let you in on, too, is that your baby also joins in, not locked away in a play pen. It is the great outdoors for everyone.
