EARTH HOUR 2010

'Earth Hour, Every Hour 2010 - One Living Planet' has launched for the region of Cairns.  Earth Hour is an international event which aims to educate and bring awareness to the global community about resource consumption, climate change & sustainability.

This year, Cairns Regional Council, Ergon Energy, GBRMPA, WSPLinclone Scott and Hot FM are encouraging the community to get funky and creative and make short films to deliver messages on sustainability and climate change to the world.

The entries will be screened at an exciting Earth Hour event at the Pier on 27 March.  They will also be posted to YouTube.  The Earth Hour event will feature a symposium of public art, films, entertainment and fun for all the family.
