Midnight Express

Dave Bromley & Paul Longley have been performing together, playing regularly throughout far North Qld for almost a year. Paul, a trained musician form an early age, plays a stack of   different instruments including keyboards, harmonica, didgeridoo, stomp box, violin, guitar & trumpet.

He also lived in North East Thailand where studied and learned to play the khaen, a unique bamboo mouth organ. Teaming this up with Dave Bromley, a self taught guitarist/ singer songwriter &   powerful vocalist, who has penned well over 30 original songs, many of which were inspired by and reflect life in North QLD.

You don’t need a whole band when you’ve got Midnight Express! These guys have a great energy together on stage and have a huge repertoire!

Covers include artists such as Goanna, Paul Kelly, Neil Murray , Cold Chisel as well as Neil Young & Eric Clapton to name a few. Both constantly interact with people and even create songs on the spot for the audience . They also use a loop to layer many instruments at one time. With the         diverse range of   instruments played by Paul it’s hard to   imagine that there is only the 2 of them performing. They are recording a CD which they will be promoting on their QLD East Coast Tour.
