Stomp the Nard - Youth Week Event
City Place - 7.00pm to 10.00pm - Sunday 5th April 2009
Cairns Regional Council and Evident Entertainment are delighted to bring to you Stomp the Nard! Proudly sponsored by Youth Substance Missuse Services and Anglicare.
On Sunday 5 April 2009 from 7.00pm, you can be part of this amazing spectacle. Stomp the Nard began in 2007 as a back alley dance battle witnessed by about 40 people. In two short years it is now a hugely publicised open air event with over 3500 spectators.
Stomp the Nard incorporates a variety of dance styles and hip hop music. Through the years hip hop has gained a bad name due to the violence which is sometimes associated with it; however, this is not really the case! The event shows what hip hop is really about, music, respect and the dance culture.
Come to City Place on the 5th of April and see what all the buzz is about. You will not be disappointed by the gifted youth in our community! For more information, visit the website www.stompthenard.com
